Psychologists have the professional training and clinical skills to help people learn to cope more effectively with life issues and mental health problems. Social Workers - a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science, which includes Child Development, Psychology, and Sociology. After earning their Bachelor’s degree, they can work towards earning a Masters of Social Work, which is CWSE accredited.
Requirements for a LCSW is to accumulate supervised clinical experience. Once the clinical experience has been met, the Social Worker Licensee board exam is taken. If passed, the social worker then becomes licensed.
